Long Term Success?

I've been doing WFPlus for about 70 days w moderate success. Anyone else out there about the same? I'm retired and just want to drop some pounds.

Do you supplement WFPlus w another program? I just bought ExerBeat to add variety. Are there better ways to supplement WFPlus?

Starting Over

Posted by AmyG in Untagged

I found this site and am very excited to join. I am starting over... sort of... See I never stopped using the Wii Fit Plus - but I did stop really watching what I was eating and today it stops.

I started using Wii Fit on April 24, 2009 to lose weight - I started at 4'11" and 131 pounds wearing a size 12 jean. By my 51st birthday on Sept. 3rd. I was 104.6 pounds and wear a size 4 jean. Yipee!!!! Then...... my thyroid went on the fritz big time, I used that as an excuse to slack off with watching what I was eating. For the last year I have been on a quest to get back where I was - but that was more in words than actions. So.....

Day One--Complete :)

Decade

Well today was day one. I ended up getting an exceptionally early day from work and chose to jump right into my workout before I sat down in hopes of keeping the motivation up. All I can say is WOW!! Why in the world didn't I get this thing set up sooner? What a blast! And the 28 minutes of workout I did went by pretty quickly. Lots of step aerobics (which I loved when I took a class in college) and some boxing (that was so much fun!). As it is right now, I can't wait until tomorrow and may hop back on there later to do some yoga if I'm feeling up to it. I just don't want to push too hard on the first day and not want to do it again.

i was eating dinner last night (fish and chips) when all of a sudden i felt very guilty about what i was eating, i didnt even get around to eating the chips (which i normally live for)!! I immediately set up wii fit again and this time i was going to stick to it!

i weighed in and was 3 KILOS!  more than i thought i was which was very depressing. i trained for an hour and a half and started to feel a bit better. i weight myself again this morning and lost 0.8grams (which is probably because i weighed myself at night last time) but i was still pleased with the results.

And So It Begins...

Just got my Wii Fit hooked up after two years of it sitting and collecting dust. My husband got it for me for Christmas a couple years back, but we didn't have a good place to put it. Now that I've got it all hooked up and have been through the set up, it's time to dig in. I'm enlisting the help of my next door neighbor as an accountability partner, but I figure if I blog about it too, I'll have other people to hold me accountable as well.

Tomorrow marks day one of training on there since I spent several hours cleaning today. Here goes nothing!

Wii Workout

Andre

Can you set these workouts up on the Wii to be continuous for 30 minutes, or do you have to stop between each set and select the next set?

Thank you
