So yesterday I had zero exercise (besides walking everywhere) and this is what I ate: banana, granola nut clusters, a beer and 5 baked ravioli for lunch and for dinner because I was STARVING we got nachos as an appetizer (didn't eat them all) and for my meal I had a veggie burger and potato salad - which I took half back and had for breakfast today.

Today I took advantage of the hotel's fitness room and did the elliptical for 35 minutes, burning 300 calories. Which, if you notice is way more than what I burn spending an HOUR on the Wii Fit. This is what I mean by real cardio. THIS is what is missing. I am so glad the warm weather is coming soon so I can start running outside. But then what am I supposed to do next winter? Maybe I will save up for an elliptical. Oh, and I also did a few yoga poses and 30 jackknives. Today will also be a lot of walking... I am going shopping on Michigan Ave, yay! I want to try to find a nice little vegetarian/healthy place to eat for lunch with fresh veggies, but I will just have to wait and see what I run into. Hopefully the Hershey store won't temp me. I don't even get tempted by sweets too much but damn, that Hershey store is awesome. For dinner we are going to this really cool Irish Pub we went to last time. Can't wait!

You are working out more than I probably ever would on vacation. For that I applaud you, lots of willpower you have. Nice weather definitely makes it easier to go outside and enjoy life. Have a good time!

I love my elliptical, but I don't use it as much as the wii because...well...it's hard. If I don't exercise for a few days, getting on the elliptical is totally overwhelming. Sometimes I combine the two by putting the wii on free run and then getting on the elliptical. That's super fun. Overall, I definitely suggest owning an elliptical machine, but not as a replacement for the wii.
