So lets be honest. How do we know how many calories are REALLY in the fast foods that we love. What sounds healthier: A grilled chiken sandwhich with the fixings, or a Big n' tasty? Well actually the Big n' tasty has less calories because the grilled chiken sandwhich has mayonaise! 200 Calorie diffrence can be a deciding factor for all of us here. So i recently bought the book " Eat this not that 2010" Ill be naming some popular places to eat.
Starbucks:
Eat this: (Breakfast)
Bacon, Gouda and egg Frittata: 380 cals,20 g. fat, 1050 mg sodium.
NOT THAT:
Blueberry scone: 460 cals, 22 g fat, 1g trans fat, 420 mg sodium
Drinks:
Eat this:
Strawberry/ Chocolate Banana Vivanno: 280 cals, 1.5 g fat, 41 g sugar
Grande Caffe Americano: 15 cals, nothing else :)
Grande Iced Coffe: 115 cals, 24 g sugar
Not that!
Grande 2% Caffe Latte: 190 cals 7 g fat, 17 sugar
Venti Strawberries and Creme Frappaccino: 580 cals, 78 g sugar, 15 g fat
Grande Java Chip Frappuccino: 340 Cals, 8 g fat, 52 g sugar
Burger King:
Eat this:
Whopper JR: 290 cals, 12 g fat, 500 mg fat
Crossant Which, Bacon Cheese Egg: 350 cals, 19 g fat, 870 mg sodium
Not that!:
BK Big fish: 650 cals, 32 g fat, 1540 mg sodium
Sauge Egg Cheese Biscuit: 560 cals, 37 g fat, 590 mg sodium
KFC
Eat this:
KFC Grilled Chiken Breast with drumstick and gravy: 380 cals, 13 g fat, 1190 g sodium
Original Recipe Strips: 310 cals, 4 g fat, 810 mg sodium
Not that!:
Crispy Chiken Breast: 490 cals,31 g fat, 1080 g sodium
Popcorn Chiken: 400 cals, 26 g fat, 1160 g sodium
Panda Express:
Eat this:
Mongalian Beef: 200 cals, 9 g fat, 830
Pinapple Chiken: 230 cals, 10 g fat, 710 mg sodium
Mixed Veggies (entree): 100 cals, 6 g fat, 220 mg sodium
Not that!:
Beijing Beef: 660 cals, 41 g fat, 860 mg sodium
Orange Chiken: 400 cals, 20 g fat, 640 mg sodium
Eggplant and Tofu: 310 cals, 24 g fat, 680 mg sodium
Ok guys i really hope that this helps you with your decision. Tell me below if you want any more restraunts/ Fast food places!
So i lost 2 lbs so far, so thats good. Hope you all are doing well
