Day 43.....1lb away from my first stone!!!

Ive not been online for a few weeks, as Ive had problems with internet, busy with other things etc, but Im currently on day 43. I just did my usual 1hr wii fit routine. I like to do some free step, boxing super advanced, cycling, jogging etc.I had to take about 2 weeks out though as I sprained my ankle, so eventhough i'm on day 43 technically, i'm actually on something like day 33!

Im really enjoying the wii fit, and Im currently one lb away from my first stone (or 14lb, or 7kgs). Im so pleased as my next mini goal was to get my BMI out of the 25's (currently about 25.14), and to get out of the 11st mark, so with the next couple of lbs I should achieve both!!

I'm a bit of a gadget freak, and Ive wanted a blackberry for ages, so as my incentive, Ive promised myself that if I lose approximately another stone by June, I can treat myself. My goal is to lose 2 stones in total, so being about half way there, it looks like the Blackberry may be a reality.....even more reason to lose weight lol!!

Day 20 on Wii Fit.....still feeling positive!

Couldnt log on yesterday, as our internet was down, so instead I kept myself busy, busy, busy!

I did 1hr 20 mins on the Wii Fit....a combination of some yoga, and strength exercises, as well as my usual favourites.....step plus, free step, cycling, rythym boxing, super hula hoop, perfect 10, jogging, and some skateboarding!

I also did alot of walking, and for the first time ever, I clocked up 16,4oo steps!!!

On the diet front....not great though. Had a toast for breakfast with honey, a McD's cheeseburger and small fries, 2 small slices of fresh baked bread and butter, but I had my fruit bowl for dinner (eventhough I cooked a beautiful lasagna for the family!)

Havent done any exercise yet....plan to this afternoon after I get down all my chores and laundry, but I did manage a Body Test this morning and I'm currently at a BMI of 25.89! Considering I was over 27 BMI three weeks ago.....Im really pleased! So determined to succeed this time! The Wii Fit has been my perfect motivation! I joined weighwatchers in December, but when the subscription ends in March, I dont think i'll be renewing as the Wii Fit has motivated me like nothing else has in my quest to lose weigh!

Aching all over.....but 8lbs down!!!

In just over 2 weeks using the Wii Fit Plus, controlling my diet and keeping positive, i've managed to lose 8lbs.....and im loving it! I also hit my first mini goal which was to get my BMI into the 25's, and the lower end of the overweight category! Next mini goal is to get into the Normal Category, so now Im now trying to concentrate more on BMI and how I feel, rather than getting hung up on lbs (though of course losing lbs is great!)

Today I only managed 1hr on Wii Fit, doing a couple of Steps Plus, Step Basic, Cycling Advance, Super Hula Hoops, Rhythm Boxing, Jogging,  and a bit of Yoga and Strength Training.

I also did about 20 mins of intense training with hubby! After my first intense training with him on Monday, my whole body is aching all over, but I feel good in myself!
Step Count for today is:13,300 and counting!

Diet today was a bowl of Special K, a medium portion of spaghetti with pecorino sauce, a large bowl of fruit salad, a few cups of coffee, and one slice of toast!

Day 16 on WiiFit Plus, and Day 1 on The Biggest Loser, and hubbys Personal Training Programme!

Ive not been able to write a blog for a few days, but I'm pleased to say that I've been sticking with my exercise.......I aim to do about an hour a day now, which is an hour more than I used to do LOL!

I was doing on average of an hour a day on the Wii Fit, and even though its got me motivated with the exercise, I didnt think it was challenging me enough to assist with the weight loss. So I got myself The Biggest Loser for the Wii. I did my first day yesterday, and its more like an exercise DVD, which is pretty good as it was consistent, unlike the Wii Fit which keeps stopping after each exercise. Im doing the 8 week challenge on the Biggest Loser which has challenged me to lose 7kg in 8 weeks (approx. 14lbs), which would be great!!!
I also started  doing an exercise programme that my hubby has devised for me.....he worked as a personal trainer at our local gym, ands it called 'intense training'. Basically you do a few seconds of low intensity training, like running on the spot, and then you would do a few seconds of explosive/intense running on the spot! Believe me, eventhough I did his 'intense training' for about 20 mins yesterday, I am really feeling it today, much much more than I ever did on the Wii Fit!

I aim to do about 45 mins of Wii Fit Plus, and 30 mins of the Biggest Loser everyday, and do the intense training my husband has planned for me, every other day! That should really help get the pounds off lol

In terms of diet.....im on a Special K bowl in the morning, can of tuna and small pitta bread for lunch with a small serving of salad, and a big bowl of fruit (apples, orange, strawberries, & kiwi) for my dinner. In between I have my cups of coffee with 1/2 sugar in each cup (down from 1 1/2 tsp every time x's about 8 times a day), loads of water,  and a low fat greek yogurt with fruit compote! I certainly dont feel hungry with that, as its more than I ate before!

Got my mother in law and sister in law coming over for Easter (which is about 7 weeks time), so its a great motivation to get myself slimmer! Im definetly more determined than Ive ever been!

Keep up the great work guys.....Wii can do it!

Renewed outlook and motivation!

After getting hung up on the wii scales reading for the last few days and getting disheartened, I desperatly tried to get myself motivated to stay on track! Im pleased to say I did just that, and where I wouldve given up before, I will continue, so thats a huge achievement for me!

I did over an hour on the Wii Fit, and burned 323 calories...i did 20 mins free step and I clocked up 2234 steps. I also did a few of the Wii Fit Routines (ie, leaner Mii, Hips and legs, tummy, over indulged, and shoulders and arms), cycling, some jogging, as well as Step Plus x 3.  Ive also so far clocked up 10000 steps with a good few hours still to go so im pleased with that too.

Quick question guys, should I take a rest day? I like doing Wii Fit everyday, but Im thinking should I take a rest day to rest the muscles? Id appreciate your feedback

Day 10........1hr 30 mins....a new record for me!

But still for the 3rd day running apparently ive gained weight......nnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!! Im meant to be loosing weight lol! Eventhough Im eating better, cutting out alcohol and exercising, a 2lb weight gain! Perhaps its because each day I exercise at a different time.

Anyway, I managed 1hr 30mins today eventhough I had hubby and little one at home all day.  The highlight was when the little piggy turned bronze to signify 10hrs on the Wii fit yay!

I did a mixture of strength and yoga exercises, which Im slowly improving on...my current fave being the jacknife...wow does it work! I also did 20mins free step clocking up 2200 steps approx., and a 30 min try at the cycling Expert course (which I couldnt do, but I lost nearly 100 calories trying. In total I burned about 330 calories today.

On the menu today was a banana and toast for breakfast, spaghettin and pecorino sauce for lunch, and for dinner a big bowl of fruit salad! In between I had about 6 cups of tea and coffee (which is good-I used to drink over 10 cups a day!)

I will continue with the wii fit plus happily as Im definetly feeling better and feeling like im loosing weight.....but hope the scales show me i've lost it too....soon! lol

Day 2 on wiifitroutine.com, day 9 on Wii Fit plus!

Did an early morning workout today, as i have both hubby and daughter home today, so I wouldnt really be able to do it during the day! Didnt do as much as I normally do, but still managed to clock up 1 hour 3mins. Did a mix of step aerobics, jogging the island lap, some cycling, some skateboarding, and a handful of muscle and yoga exercises. Managed to work off 310 calories so, eventhough im disappointed I apparently put on 1lb since yesterday, Im still pleased I managed to get a work out in! I did the workout early in the morning though, as opposed to before lunch like I normally do, so Im not too fussed!

Got to say, I am feeling so much better for the Wii Fit. I wake up in the morning feeling energetic, eventhough ive had alot less sleep this last week, due to us all being unwell, and my little one waking up a bit during the night. Eventhough its may not show that im losing weight, I truly believe i am! For eg, the pjs that i was wearing at the beginning of the year which felt tight around the waist and the thighs, now feel alot more looser when I put them on last night!

I used to get very hung up on what the scales said...if I was up a lb or 2 before, i'd get disheartened and was prepared to throw in the towel! often i did too, however this time Im determined to keep it up! The Wii Fit has encouraged me more than I truly thought possible!

I Wiiiiiill succeed lol!
