I had to double up this blog entry with the site being down most of the day, these things happen though :). I managed to squeeze in Tuesday’s challenge just before the boys got home. I seem to hit my afternoon slump about half an hour after I eat lunch, so I’m thinking that may be a better time to get the blood flowing. This is my third attempt (third time’s the charm) at starting the 30 Day Challenge. First go, I set to medium intensity, and by rest day I could barely get up the stairs. So on the second go, I played it safe and set to light intensity… borrrring…. I think I gave it up mostly because I was bored out of my tree. This time I’m back to medium intensity and just going to do whatever I can to push through it, I like a challenge so it suits me better, but man can I feel the burn now lol.
The other change I made this time is to purchase higher-level resistance bands. The one included with the EA kit is ok, but I felt my lower body was getting a far better workout than my upper body. With the higher resistance, I feel it is a bit more even now. I do want to invest in some ankle/wrist weights & dumbbells shortly too.
Wednesday was rest day on EA Active Sports, so I pulled out Wii Fit Plus and worked on my yoga, strength training & did free step for 20. First time I've done a body test in 20 days, and although I didn't lose much, considering I've done next to nothing in those 20 days, better than weight gain me thinks. I feel I'm ready now to get a riser for my balance board too, the stepping is getting too easy, but man, can I feel my thighs & buttocks this morning LoL. Until I can get set in a routine of balancing kids, home, school, photography & workouts, I’m trying to stick to 30 minutes a day (which seems to take up about an hour of my time for some reason). It’s hard to keep it there, I enjoy my workouts, but anything more right now and then other things don’t get accomplished. One step at a time J.
Keep up the good work everyone!

SJ, I don't know how I'm doing it, all I can think is that I don't need most of the training videos?
