Figuring...

Gotta figure out what to do when we go out for lunch as a staff.  I need to figure out what to do about portion size and ingredients.  We were supposed to go one place, but ended up at a Japanese grill and I had no idea what was going to be the mean between too little and too much.  I went with an appetizer of steamed pork gyoza, but that ended up not being filling.  But looking at the other portions of the meals around the table, that would have been too much (but not enough to split in half and make two meals).

Had reheated wings from last night (5), corn on the cob, and peas and carrots for dinner.  Did about 40 min of aerobics and about to go grab an apple.

I know I'm being better about WHAT I'm eating, but I don't know about how much.  I'm pretty sure it's not too much, but I wonder if I'm actually consuming enough.  That was a problem I had the last time I tried to diet -- I ended up getting sick because I wasn't eating ENOUGH.  I think I'm being better by just going with homemade instead of processed or takeout and cutting portion sizes a bit.  But I just don't know.

as a rule of thumb, most restuarants give you a double serving when you order an entree. its best to try and split with someone or take half home for lunch the next day. Also you want to be eating 6 times a day. it'll get your metabolism buzzing. your day should look like breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. And drink ALOT of water. Remember what goes in must come out. In order to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you eat. you should probably be consuming 1500-1800 calories a day.
