Still not back on the Wii, but am staying active, nonetheless. I rode my bike to and from work daily this week, and managed to make it up the killer hill once...the other days I tried I was stopped by the traffic light. Seriously, though...what idiot thought to put a traffic light right in the middle of a hill?? Someone who clearly hates cyclists, that's who!! The day I actually made it up the hill (yesterday), my legs burned for the rest of the ride home and were total jello. I was supposed to go for a run with the running group a few hours later, and was *so* close to bailing on it, except the guilt of not running for 5 days won. I did a 2.6km run with the beginner group and made myself be content with that.

On Saturday I plan on doing  a 25km bike ride to my friend's house, which is a city over from mine. Hopefully that will go alright...I told her to have a bed made up for when I get there, cuz I'll probably need a nap!

The only other news I have right now is that I signed up for a 5km run in London (UK) next month while I'm there. It was super cheap, and I figured it was as good a way as any to see a bit of the city while getting exercise. I've only been to London once for a brief period, so haven't seen a whole lot of the city. I also plan on going for a run one day in Hyde Park. Cannot wait!

Yay! You beat the hill! Congradulations! I'm really happy for you :3 Whoever put a traffic light in the middle of the hill is silly, I agree ^^ Good luck on your bike ride! I know you can do it! Still cheering for you!
