For a couple months at least now a very dear friend of mine and chat buddy from the US has been getting on me (in a nice way ;) ) to unpack my Wii Fit (after a move this summer) so that we could get moving on a workout together. I've been suffering (as I look back) with a bout of depression for the past, at least 4 months? and as I saw myself slowly pull out of it (which is of course when it dawned on me that was the issue) I was very unhappy with how heavy I have become over the past 18 months, how out of shape I am, and how tired I am all the time. As you read my blog you'll get to know more of my motivation, but this was a big part.
With my friend's encouragement, I pulled out the balance board, charged up the batteries, tracked down the disc and texted her that evening, "Babe, we're set up, ready to start tomorrow?" or something to that effect... lol. I searched the internet and found a workout for us on someone's blog and got set to rock. Last Tuesday, we turned on msn, got our Wii's going, and we started. It felt soooo good, but that workout wasn't all that helpful, even for this lazy butt, it was a good start but I needed more. So she tracked down this site... LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much to the creators :D.
We worked out daily for just under an hour last week until Friday and, due to different reasons to each of us, we started back again this Tuesday with some great new ideas for routines AND we both bought Wii Fit Plus! So excited at all the new features!
So one week back on the Wii Fit horse now, having a lot of fun and so glad to have someone along for the ride! Looking forward to getting to making new Mii friends as well !! Here's to feeling good again !!!

We have our work cut out for us Ducky but we'll each get where we want to end up before you know it...and you have an awesome goal to work towards!
Now to get that battery issue fixed...can't have ya running outta juice
