Reboot Day 2: weight loss and routine tweaks

I was actually keen for this tonight. Almost rushed home from work. It does kinda suck that I am doing this alone at home and so have no one to challenge so I am instead aiming for 4 stars in any activity until moving on to the higher level. For some things this is easy (jackknifes being one of them) other not so much (cue anything with balance required) but I will get there and get better.

The simple test today also showed some shocking/surprising results - I am 1.2kg lighter today than yesterday, wearing the same clothes and not really eating much differently. Strange but nice.

Weight: 94.4kgs
BMI: 32.66

I also tweaked my routine today as I don't see how some of the exercises are working what they say they are. Sideways Leg-lift and Single Leg twist apparently work the waist muscles, I only feel anything in my supporting leg. I'll keep doing the Torso & Waist twists though even if I don't feel much beyond my shoulders aching from holding my arms up.

Current routine (20mins):

  1. Sun Saluation
  2. Jackknife
  3. Jackknife
  4. Half-moon
  5. Torso & Waist twists
  6. Torso & Waist twists
  7. Rowing squat
  8. Lunge
  9. Sideways leg lift
  10. Sideways leg lift
  11. Single Leg Twist
  12. Single Leg Twist
  13. Paralell stretch

New routine (20mins):

  1. Sun Saluation
  2. Jackknife
  3. Jackknife
  4. Half-moon
  5. Torso & Waist twists
  6. Torso & Waist twists
  7. Chair
  8. Rowing squat
  9. Lunge
  10. Sideways leg lift
  11. Single Leg Twist
  12. Paralell stretch
Either of these is followed by 20 mins made up of 10min Balance/Plus and 10 min Aerobic (Step Plus now as I "mastered" Step Basic yesterday.)

I know what you mean when you say you don't feel it. I never feel it either but I still do them. Maybe somewhere beneath my fat those muscles are getting exercised properly.
