I received my Wii Fit Plus kit today and started using it right out of the box. Since I live on the third floor of my apartment building, I decided to use the extra pads for the balance board. Weighed in at 244 lbs., ouch! This makes me morbidly obese, but hey, I'm working on it! My fitness age is 29, which surprised me a lot as that is merely 2 years above my actual age. My center of balance is pretty central (L: 48.4 / R: 51.6), which did not surprise me too much, given that my job keeps me on my feet and moving around.
In addition to starting this Wii Fit Plus exercise regime (which I'm hoping to set at 30 mins., 4-5 times a week), I have also recently started the Couch to 5K program. I am about to start Week 3 of that, with the goal of running a zombie obstacle course in mid-August. Very exciting, indeed!
So, today, besides creating a Mii for my fitness profile and completing a body test, I played the following games: Hula Hoop, Basic Step, Basic Run (short), Super Hula Hoop, Advanced Step, 2 reps of Rhythm Boxing, and 4 reps of Perfect 10. I had a ton of fun and I definitely worked up a sweat!
