Custom Routines Print this page
I made up my custom routine yesterday and I'm curious as to what everyone else's might be.

Here's mine:

1.) Half-Moon
2.) Warrior
3.) Tree
4.) Triangle
5&6.) Single-Leg Extension
7&8.) Push-Up and Side Plank
9&10.) Lunge
11.) Arm and Leg Lift
12.) Plank
13.) Tricep Extention
14.) Palm Tree
15.) Standing Knee
16.) Sun Salutation
17.) Torso Twists
18&19.) Sideways Leg Lift
20&21.) Jackknife
22.) Single-Leg Twist
23.) Rowing Squat
24.) Bridge
25.) Dance
26.) Downward-Facing Dog
27.) Deep Breathing

I wish they'd give us the option to put the other stuff in there as well but this is a great start

My routine hardly changes - I am a creature of habit, always have been! Here is what I do:

WII FIT PLUS:
Steps plus, 5 mins
Jogging - long,4
Rhythm parade - advanced,5
Birds eye... - advanced,4
Cycle - beginner,4
Hoola hoop,2
Steps plus, 5
Rhythm parade - advanced,5

EA SPORTS ACTIVE:
This game is made up of shorter routines, but are good. Because they are shorter there are about 15 things I do with this, totalling 16 mins. These are:

Targets, (boxing), dance - medium and fast, tennis - various, baseball - catch and pitch & batting. I have programmed a mix of all of these totalling 16 mins and exercise my arms only, while wearing 2.5lb weights on each wrist - only started with weights yesterday and it is a hrd workout wearing the weights, but no pain, no gain, eh??

In summary - My wii fit plus routine lasts about 30 mins, burning approx 200 calories and exercises my legs mostly. The EA Sports exercises my arms only,lasting about 16 mins and burns about 105 calories, tho probably a bit more as I have started using the wrist weights.

I have lost 8 lbs in 45 days, which is a steady drop of approx 1lb to 2 lb weekly. I am happy with that. I only put on 1lb in the week my birthday fell!

I hope this gives you all some ideas and reassures you that these routines are good for you and will result in weight loss.

I am not on any diet of such either but do control myself more, like eating little chocolate and drinking less alcohol over Christmas! Crisps and biscuits are safe in the house now, because I have my mind set on losing weight.

Can you save more than one routine in the Locker Room? Right now I have a 30 minute abs routine in there and want to add others without having to delete that routine. TIA!

I'm pretty sure you can only save 1 routine and it's driving me CRAZYYY! I wish we were able to store more than one..I'd like to have a warm up, switch and do aerobics, strength train & cool down..hopefully if they make another wii fit or something similar they'll incorporate being able to save multipe routines!

Yeah, I'm disappointed in the abilities of saving/customizing routines. Hopefully there will be options in the future.

exactly. I would like to save about 4 or 5 routines i could just do thru the week to reach all aspects of workouts. I would rather not have to search for each workout. If they could make it seamless once you save custom workouts, that would be Great.
