has been a tad disappointing for me OnO

When I first weighed in I was 164.7lbs with a BMI of 24.96 I set a goal to loose 20lbs in 3 months, i figured that was realistic?

over the past 7 days these are my results:
Day One BMI: 24.69
Day Two BMI: 24.52
Day Three BMI: 24.52
Day Four BMI: 24.39
Day Five BMI: 24.66
Day Six BMI: 24.62
Day Seven BMI: 24.32

and now today I weighed in and my BMI is 24.56 with a Weight of 162.0

I find myself only loosing about 1lbs or 2lbs per day which can be anything, I normally only have time to use the Wii fit before work in the mornings for at max an hour and maybe if i get out of work early an hour during the day.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how I can get out of this rut of gaining back and shedding just these 2lbs (note the first week i only exercised in the mornings for about 45 minutes) Am I on the right track is there something im missing? I've never really exercised before.

Two pounds a week is pretty good, to be honest. Besides, it takes time before you start seeing a difference. I'd say just continue doing what you're doing, and you'll eventually start seeing a bigger difference. OH, and FYI, the Wii can't tell the difference between fat and muscle. I have pretty good muscle in my arms from lifting stuff at work, and the Wii thinks it's extra weight.

Also, if you haven't already, get some comfy clothes like yoga pants and tank tops. It makes the experience way better, and they're better than pajamas!

Starting off you will lose more weight initially due to your body not being used to the exercising. I would suggest weighing yourself at the same time everyday in the same clothes so you know the weight fluctuation isn't because of what you wear. Personally I just do it in underwear because that works for me and it's very consistent. Doing it before you shower and eat is definitely something I suggest. I also go to the bathroom before weighing, because evey little bit lost helps right?

For the first week losing that much weight is amazing and I'd be happy if that was my first week. It actually might have been, I have to go back and check. I'm gonna say keep it up because it looks like your doing well enough already.

the doing it before eating/showering after bathroom is what i tend to do i was just worried i wasnt loosing enough and i had to push myself harder but thank you both at least i know im not doing something wrong now! thanks guys!

Have faith and try to keep up working out. You may not see the result in the first week but in a few weeks I am sure you would see a difference. . I am going to start my first day of working out as a routine.
