Brand New To wii fit Print this page
So i just started my wii fit yesterday to burn some weight from having my child, i have about 30 extra pounds i want to shred...does anyone have any suggestions on good works on the wii and what not? or any suggestions at all?

So far, I like step, boxing and kung fu (with some yoga thrown in here and there). I feel results with the first three that I mentioned (sore arms and calves, work up a sweat). I feel a little more toned, better posture, more in control. I like doing the yoga because it is very challenging and makes me focus. My weight has fluctuated up and down, but I haven't been consistent with healthier eating. I'm working on it! Good luck!

I usually run for a half hour, do 100 jack knives, and then do another half hour of running. I also have a music play list full of fast, happy music that I listen to while I do the running.
Also, I'll sometimes throw in some lunges, since it's pretty good for toning your legs.

I agree with the having other music comment. When you play it for long periods of time the sounds get annoying. I love super hula hoop. I play that, 10 minute duration, on mute while watching a netflix or hulu video on my laptop (after I catch all the hula hoops of course!) I love the free run. You can actually change the channel on your television and the wiimote will talk to you and tell you how much longer you have and when you are done. Free step is the same as well. My favorite is the yoga. If you find yourself getting bored of listening to the same music and trainer comments over and over again try some music it will make it much more enjoyable.

Welcome aboard!! I also have the baby weight to get rid of although i should get on that since she just turned one

I am new too to wii fit although I shouldn't be since I've had it awhile. The summer has snookered me. wow I am just full of excuses lol but come Sept 1 I am going full track with my wii competition.
