balance board problems Print this page
hi guys - when i use the balance board for activities that require stepping on the board but not actually coming off it - like obstacle course and cycling it keeps coming up thats its lost its connection... so i have to keep waiting for it to stop flashing and then carry on but its really annoying. I can do all exercises where i just stand on the board, and anythling like step or boxing its fine... its only when im walking on the spot

does anyone else have this issue and/or know how to fix it?

Where is your sensor bar located (above or below the TV)? Make sure that you have it configured in the Settings section of the Wii. I haven't run into the issue that you are experiencing, but from time to time my sensor bar shifts back and makes the connection with the regular Wii remote jerky instead of smooth. Also make sure that the batteries are good. The system will usually pop up a message saying that the batteries are low.

thanks for answering.. the batteries are definately good because i changed them thinking that was the problem but its still occuring. the sensor bar is below the tv and never moves.

i checked the nintendo website and they recommended syncing which hasnt helped either so now i've emailed them and hopefully i'll get a reply!

Maybe the board is too far away from the system. If the Wiimote is more than say 30 feet away you won't get the finger on the screen. Could be the same problem with the board being too far away from the system. Only thought I have since all the other stuff suggested didn't seem to solve it.
