Review of EA Sports Active

Well I picked up my copy of EA Active yesterday for the Wii.
So far after 2 workouts (last night and this morning) I would say that I am thoroughly impressed with it. I am very happy with the way it automatically sets up a workout routine for me and keeps throwing workouts my direction instead of my wasting time and clicking on each individual workout like in the Wii Fit. I've always felt like I was wasting time between exercises with the Wii Fit and always feel rushed trying to get my workout done in time to leave for work.
So far I have worked up a good sweat both times and it even tells me how many calories I'm burning. It does not take my weight at all either let alone everyday...you need to tell it how much you weight which means you have to be honest of course. It doesn't keep bugging you about weight every single day which I always hated...I am a once a week weigher not an everyday one.
The resistance band does add to the strength training aspect but I don't feel it challenges me as much as using my free weights with the Wii strength training. I get a much better AB workout from Jacknifes in Wii Fit as well as Push Ups/Side Planks and Triceps Extensions with my Free weight. Wii Fit will definitely stay in my routine for those strength exercises.
Otherwise, however, I think EA Active will be replacing all cardio portions of my workout whatsoever. I prefer the running aspect of EA much better as the leg strap better tracks my movements than just letting the controller hang.
So all in all EA Active will be taking over the majority of my fitness as of right now with the exception of the few strength exercises that I need from Wii Fit. (Jacknifes, Push Ups/Side Planks, and Tricep Extensions)
Any questions let me know...
