How to unlock - Do Basic Step 3 times
Burn off calories and strengthen legs.
This is by far my favorite weight loss exercise. After doing a sprint follow up with a couple sets of Advanced Step for a great weight loss routine. Keep the count in your head 1, 2, 3, 4 relax and enjoy

My absolute fave on Wii Fit. I do advanced step three or four times a night as part of my exercise routine and it helps to challenge myself to exceed my points at the end and make each step perfect. I'm up to a 666 score.

I was surprised to see how other people interpret the "GREEN" step pattern.
To me the "GREEN" step pattern is a knee lift.
I have seen others doing a leg kick, which is not recommended because of the increase of strain on the knee and back.
I have done step aerobics back in the 90's before Wii Fit and we were told not to do leg kicks on the step.
I would recommend to anyone doing the Advanced Step, that they should use the knee lift step for the GREEN step pattern.
A knee lift is better for the large leg muscles and is also good for the abs.
Just remember to keep your ads in and back straight.

What I find hard is getting a "perfect".....sometimes it seems so arbitrary.....I will do it exactly the same, yet one step is perfect and the next ok. I know the concept behind it, and really think that sometimes it just is a little "off". I like being challenged by the point system the wii fit uses, so this tends to confound me!

I always thought green was leg kick.
I'll do knee lift now. I love advanced step. The other Mii's are so funny!
