Muscle Group: This posture decreases stiffness in the lower back and strengthens the arms and shoulders.


  • Lie on your stomach
  • Raise your head, look forward and place your hands flat on the ground
  • Slowly bend backwards, relax your neck.  Do not bend further if the pressure becomes uncomfortable.  Straighten your arms and use them to  support your upper body try to relax and keep your hips as close to the floor as is comfortable.
